Pomeranian Storms - nomination of Dr. hab. BEng. Aneta Lewkowicz

The twentieth edition of the "Pomorskie Sztormy" plebiscite (en.: Pomeranian Storms) has started, this year awarding in 10 different categories, from culture, through citizen's award, to science. Among the nominees for the "Sztorm Naukowy (en.: Science Storm)" category is Dr. hab. BEng. Aneta Lewkowicz from the Faculty of Mathematics, Physics and Informatics!

Doctor Lewkowicz has developed an innovative method of visualizing fingerprint traces on an absorbent substrate, which allows for their precise and safe disclosure, contributing to higher efficiency of forensic trace analysis. Not only that, she also played a key role in establishing Laboratory for Revealing Forensic Traces of the University of Gdańsk.
